Now look and please follow the steps how to make this beautiful candle card.
For this you need :
a Piece card 10"x 7 - 1/2"(Base)
a Piece card 6 - 1/2" x 6"
Patterned paper of your choice
Small piece acetate
4 tea light candles
Double sided tape or glue
Embellishments of your choice
PROCEDURE:
This project was worked based on the inches.
Step 1:
First take a larger piece of card score at 3/4" and 6 3/4".
Rotate card and score the short side at ½”, 1 ¼”, 2 ¾”, 3 ½”, 5” and 8 ¼”.
Step 2:
Cut the card as shown in the below figure.
Mark the inches as shown.
Step 3:
Turn the card and insert and tape the piece of acetate inside its aperture.
Fold the box and glue the base flaps together.
Step 4:
To decorate and make front cover cut a piece of card 6 1/2" by 6". Score at 5 3/4".
Step 5:
Using double sided tape or glue along 3/4" section attach this piece to 3/4" section
on the base of the card. This then becomes the front cover.
Step 6:
Now the box is finished and it is time to just decorate your card inside and out.
Insert the tea light candles.
This project would be excellent for any occasion when you want just a bit more than a card. Here we have used
Spellbinders Lotus Pendant on the front, along with a Creatables die, made a gathered lace flower and layered
with paper flowers and rhinestone and also added a pocket inside for tag. A sticker is also used.
